Tidy, Not Forgotten: The Archive Module

Every active website gradually collects content that is no longer quite current: last year's summer party, the announcement of a promotion that ended long ago, an article about an old version. You don't want to delete it – but you don't want it at the top of your overview either. That's what the Archive is for.

Archive Instead of Delete

Blog articles and events have a status. Besides "draft" and "published", there is "archived". An archived post disappears from the current overview but is kept in full – with text, images and everything that belongs to it.

Everything in One Place

The Archive module collects all archived blog articles and events in one place in the backend. You see at a glance what has been there before and quickly find old content again, instead of searching for it.

From Event to Recap

Especially handy: from a past event, you create a blog draft with one click. That's ideal for a recap with photos, a report or a thank-you to everyone who came. A finished event turns into new content for your website.

Why It Matters

A tidy overview looks lively and well kept. Visitors first see what is relevant now, not what happened two years ago. At the same time, nothing you once worked on gets lost.

How articles and events are created is explained in the Blog module and the Events module.
