Your website is open to everyone – and it should stay that way. Sometimes, though, you want to offer your most loyal readers something extra: an online course, in-depth guides, templates or a club's internal area. With the Subscriptions module, you offer paid memberships for it – right on your website, with no third-party platform in between.
Tiers the Way You Need Them
You decide how many tiers there are, what they are called and what they cost. A single membership works just as well as a model with "Basic", "Plus" and "Premium". You set from which tier a piece of content is visible.
Higher Tiers See More
Higher tiers automatically see all the content of the lower ones too. You never have to unlock anything twice: whatever is visible to "Basic" is automatically visible to "Plus" and "Premium".
Payment by PayPal Subscription
Payment runs through the Payment module as a PayPal subscription. Fees are collected automatically and recurringly, so you never have to chase anyone. Your members see and manage their subscription as usual in their PayPal account.
Built on the Users Module
To become a member, people need an account. That's what the Users module provides: registration with email confirmation, login and password reset, cleanly separated from admin access. The Subscriptions module builds on it and manages who has which tier.
Content for Members
In the blog, you set individual articles to "members only". With the Nav: Pro navigation, logged-in visitors also get their own members' area in the menu. That way they find their content without searching.
